own和hold是什么意思

　　owning springs and streams means control,...... 要用holding 來(lái)替代也是可以的，但不能直接換詞，可以這樣表達(dá)：Holding the rights of springs and streams means control..........

　　例子：shares 和 stocks 都是股票的意思，但shares 是指?jìng)€(gè)人或集團(tuán)擁有公司的部分股票，而stock 是指一家公司的所有股票。因此，不能說(shuō)：I own the stocks of that company, 只能用 I own the shares of that company。那我硬要用 stocks 來(lái)表達(dá)，可以嗎？當(dāng)然可以，但猶如上述，不能直接換詞替代，應(yīng)該這么說(shuō)：I own part of the stocks of that company。
